These terms apply to the styling services provided by Solkin ("Solkin", "we" or "I"), operated by Shivani Sarin as a sole trader in London, United Kingdom. Our correspondence address is 27 Old Gloucester Street, Holborn, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom, and you can reach us at [email protected]. By booking or buying a service, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, please email us before you buy.
Solkin offers three things. The Style Blueprint is a personalised digital styling guide prepared from your questionnaire and photographs. The Style Blueprint + Private Session adds a one-hour private video call and a personalised shopping list to that guide. And in London, bespoke in-person styling is arranged by enquiry. Each service is described on the website.
Services are paid for in full at the time of booking, in pounds sterling, through our payment provider. Our prices are the full amount you pay, and because we are not VAT registered, no VAT is added. Work begins once your payment has been received and you have submitted your completed questionnaire and photographs.
Your Style Blueprint is delivered digitally within five working days of us receiving your completed questionnaire and photographs. If anything causes a delay, we'll let you know and agree a new date with you.
Because you are buying online, you have a legal right to cancel within fourteen days of your purchase. How this works in practice depends on the service, and we explain it below. To cancel, simply email [email protected].
The Style Blueprint. You may cancel for a full refund at any time before you submit your questionnaire and photographs, and until you submit them your fourteen-day right to cancel still stands. When you submit them, you are asking us to begin work straight away, and because each Blueprint is created specifically for you, you agree that you lose the right to cancel for a refund once we have begun.
The Style Blueprint + Private Session. The Blueprint part works exactly as above. Your private session is then booked for a time we agree together. You may reschedule it once free of charge, as long as you give at least 24 hours' notice. Any further reschedule, or a reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, carries a fee of £25. A session missed without notice, or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, is treated as held and is not refundable.
In-person styling in London. Arranged individually by enquiry. The terms, including any deposit and cancellation notice, are confirmed in writing when you book.
None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to a service carried out with reasonable care and skill.
The quality of your styling advice depends on the information you give us, so please complete your questionnaire honestly and provide photographs as described. We can't be responsible for recommendations that miss the mark because key information wasn't shared.
Styling guidance is exactly that, a set of personal and professional suggestions based on your information and our judgment. It is offered in good faith to help you, but it isn't a guarantee of any particular outcome, and style is always personal to you.
Any shopping list, product suggestions or links we share are for your convenience only. We are not the seller and are not responsible for third-party products, their price, availability or quality. You buy from third parties at your own discretion and under their terms. If any link is an affiliate link, we will say so clearly.
Your Style Blueprint and all the materials we create remain the intellectual property of Solkin and are licensed to you for your own personal use. Please don't resell, reproduce or share them commercially, or present them as your own.
We treat everything you share as confidential and handle your personal data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
We'll always carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or unexpected losses. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to you is the one published when you bought your service. The date above shows when these were last updated.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales.
